Sam’s Hopital Wake-Up PT.1
As Skylar held his hand desperatley hoping the surgery would cure his blood disorder, she thought to herself, ” Look how far we’ve came…and everyone said we weren’t right for eachother.” A sudden beep woke me out of my transe, and I realized Sam’s eyelids were fluttering open. I gripped his hand tighter and prayed he was waking up for good. His eyes slowly shot open and the first words i had spoken were “I love you.” He gave a quiet moan and replied with a smile, unable to speak. His mother ran into the hospital room sobbing tears of joy to see her son awake. She leaned over him and kissed his forhead, and gently intertwined his hand with hers and whispered “I’m so glad your back, I missed you.” The doctor came in and said they were going to run a few tests and see if he could be released from the hospital as his family hoped. I sat there, beside his bed, still holding his hand in amazement and his mother asked for a moment alone with her son. I released his hand and left the room, I needed to make a few phone calls anyway. I called friends and family to tell them Sam was awake and his surgery went great. His mom came out and gently shut the door behind her, looked at me, and said we needed to talk. Before I could reply, She began. ” You and ,my son have been together for a while now, and I need to know if youre truely in love with him and are in it for the long run.” ” I love your son more than anything in this world and nothing could go wrong to make me leave him, Im here for the long run”, I replied. She gave a soft smile, and wrapped her arms around me in a gentle hug and told me she loved me as her daughter and will do anything and everything she needs to do to help me and Sam out. A tear ran down my face and she walked away to greet family members that had came to see Sam.
